The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Food Preserver (MFP) program launched a series of cooking classes for Lane County residents.
Most classes will be held at the Community of Christ Church located at 1485 Gilham Road, Eugene unless otherwise noted. Register by filling out the appropriate form and either mailing or dropping off to the OSU Extension Service MFP in Lane County, 996 Jefferson St., Eugene OR 97402. Some classes have credit card payment options, see below.

Applications for the next Master Food Preserver Volunteer Training in 2015 are available. Pre-registration is required by March 27, 2015. Classes will be held on Monday's starting April 13, 2015.
Breads for Everyday - Please call the OSU Extenson office for registration details at 541-344-5859. "Breads for Everyday" class to be held January 30 & 31, 2015 at FOOD for Lane County, 770 Bailey Hill Road, Eugene. $60. On Friday, Jan. 30 class will be held 6-8 p.m. On Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 class will run 9 a.m.-3 p.m. This class is designed for beginning bread bakers.
Food & Water Storage for Emergencies - Registration open. Class will be held February 28, 2015 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the OSU Extension Service office, 996 Jefferson Street, Eugene (enter on 10th at the ramp). Cost: $20 per person. Pre-registration requested. Credit card payment.
