The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Food Preserver (MFP) program launched a series of cooking classes for Lane County residents.
Most classes will be held at the Community of Christ Church located at 1485 Gilham Road, Eugene unless otherwise noted. Register by filling out the appropriate form and either mailing or dropping off to the OSU Extension Service MFP in Lane County, 996 Jefferson St., Eugene OR 97402. Some classes have credit card payment options, see below.

Applications are available for the 2014 Master Food Preserver Volunteer Training. Pre-registration is required. Classes will run Monday's, April 14-June 9, 2014 at the Community of Christ Church, 1485 Gilham Road, Eugene. Registraion is open for the two upcoming Saturday Cooking classes "How to Fill Your Pantry." The Jam Session! and Pickle Passion! classes will be held at the Community of Christ Church, 1485 Gilham Road, Eugene. Call 541-344-4885 with questions.
July 19, 2014 - Jam Session! 10 a.m.-3 p.m. ($60) Payment with Credit Card option.
August 16, 2014 - Picle Passion! 10 a.m.-3 p.m. ($60) Credit card option.
September 6, 2014 - Tuna Workshop - 10 a.m. to about 4 p.m. when done. Class will be held at FOOD for Lane County, 770 Bailey Hill Rd., Eugene. $60 plus cost of tuna. You can pay $60 with a credit card. Cost of tuna will be paid day of class by cash or check based on current market price.
