Child Care Health Consultation Program
Because Early Experiences Last a Lifetime
As of July 1, 2010 the funding for Child Care Health Consultation services in Oregon was cut due to the state budget crisis.
The Child Care Health Consultation Program (CCHC) is dedicated to helping child care providers help the families they serve.
Our team of specialists provide up-to-date information on the latest guidelines, policies, and research regarding child development and child health and safety. Services may include:
- Help to identify the physical and mental health needs of children, families and/or providers.
- Assistance to providers in developing health policies and forms.
- Hands on support and assistance through telephone consultations, onsite visits and trainings.
- Connecting providers and families with community health resources including Oregon Health Plan and/or the Family Health Insurance Assistance Program.
