We offer the following training/workshops for forest products companies' employees in Lincoln County and *surrounding Counties:
16-hour Lumber Drying (2-days)
Calculate energy costs of alternative fuels and estimate lumber drying costs for your mill with this calculator.
8-hour Introduction to Lean Manufacturing (1-day)


8-hour Introduction/Review of Statistical Process Control (1-day)

8-hour Wood as a Raw Material (1-day)

The host company will be responsible for morning and afternoon break refreshments and lunch.
Cost recovery: Only cost recovery is being charged for the workshops. There is no cost for the instructor but you will be charged for mileage (currently $0.55/mi), printed material, per diem and lodging if an overnight stay is necessary.
The instructor is Jim Reeb who has 9 years of experience working in the forest industry and has been working with the forest products industry for more than 30 years. He has taught over 200 workshops to over 4,000 industry employees, landowners and the public.
