The Lincoln County Extension Office is your link to Oregon State University. We provide research-based information in the areas of Agriculture & Forestry, 4-H Youth Development, Family and Community Development, Horticulture, and Marine Science.

Our county agents are OSU Faculty members who 'extend' the University to the community by teaching new skills and providing problem-solving based on University research. They also keep the University informed about research and informational needs of the community.

Annually, our Extension Agents, Program Assistants and Volunteers personally help thousands of Lincoln County residents through meetings, workshops, short courses, tours, demonstrations, newsletters and one-on-one consultations. Check our calendar for events.

We maintain a great lending library of informational videos on topics such as gardening, home and family, child care, food safety, 4-H Youth Development, Marine issues and others. This inventory of information is available to everyone and is, of course, FREE.  Perfect for adding to your lesson plans for public, private and home schoolers. In addition, most of the informational publications from OSU are available at our office. Check the online catalog at Extension and Experiment Station Communications for more information or downloadable information.
