Cover Oregon Enrollment Period Extended
Oregonians now have an additional month to apply for private health insurance. The new deadline to apply is April 30. This will give people who have not yet applied for coverage through Cover Oregon more time. There have been more than 175,000 enrollments through Cover Oregon so far. The Oregon Insurance Division and Cover Oregon urge people to apply now to get coverage as soon as possible and avoid a potential end-of-month rush. For enrollment assistance, go to the Cover Oregon website https://www.coveroregon.com/, scroll to Free Application Assistance, enter your zip code and click the “FIND” button. A list of Linn County assisters will appear with their contact information.
