"Extending Knowledge and Changing Lives"

The Linn County Office of the Oregon State University Extension Service provides research-based educational information and programs in agriculture, forestry, 4-H/youth and Family and Community Development for the citizens of Linn County.

County Extension agents are faculty members of the colleges at Oregon State University. OSU Extension programs in Linn County are funded by cooperative agreement of Linn county government, Oregon State University (Extension Service), and the United States Department of Agriculture. We have been serving Linn County since 1934.

GROWING (formerly UPDATE) is published jointly by OSU Extension Service – Linn County, Linn County Extension Association and the Albany Democrat-Herald. GROWING is published every other month and is supplied to Linn County residents as an insert in the Albany Democrat-Herald.
