Forests are important part of life in Linn County, providing many environmental, social and economic benefits to communities, families and individuals. Forests cover about 70% of Linn County, with about 10% owned by families and individuals that manage their woodland properties for a wide range of benefits including a place to live or recreate, create a family legacy, maintain wildlife habitat or as an investment.
We provide woodland owners and managers with information they need to make well-informed decisions on how best to take care of their woodland property and fulfill their reasons for owning their land.
