21st Annual Plant Sale

(May 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2008)

The Marion County Master Gardeners Association will host their 21st annual plant and yard sale on Friday, May 2nd, 4:00–7:00 PM, Saturday, May 3rd, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM and Sunday, May 4th 9:00AM-2:00 PM at the Marion Demonstration Garden, located at 3180 Center Street NE, Salem, behind the Public Health building. The location is approximately 3 blocks west of Lancaster Mall.

There will be tomatoes and peppers along with the best selection ever of perennials, annuals, fuchsias, trees, shrubs, other vegetables and much more! Many of these plants have been propagated or germinated in our very own greenhouse.

The garden yard sale will offer new and used tools, yard furniture, planters, books, garden art, garden supplies and much more! If you wish to contribute an item please contact Bev Zwemke at e-mail zwemkera@navicom.net. We can not pick up yard sale donations but will make arrangements for drop off at the garden (preferably before May 1st).

An adult 3 wheel tricycle with large basket will be raffled off, with the final drawing to be held Sunday afternoon. You need not be present to win. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each, or 6 for $5.

A ‘Free Plant Clinic’ will be held offering answers to your home gardening questions. Although most sales areas are covered, come prepared for typical Oregon weather.
