Want to Join 4-H? With over 100 4-H clubs and many different 4-H projects to choose from, there is truly something for everyone in the Marion County 4-H club program!
Youth in 4-H are placed in divisions based on their grade in school. Youth ages 5 to 8 years old may participate in the 4-H Cloverbud program. Cloverbuds are led by trained 4-H volunteers. This non-competitive, group-oriented program allows youth to explore many topics such as natural resources, community, foods, science, art, and many more. Youth ages 9 through 19 or your last year of High School may join 4-H project or community clubs, which are also led by trained volunteer 4-H leaders. Divisions are broken down by grade as follows:
Here is how to get started:
Look over the list of project areas and choose one or more in which you are interested. Youth in grades K-3 will be offered our 4-H Cloverbud program.
Fill out the Member Interest Form and return to our office, We will then match you with a club that meets your interest and location.
Visit with adults you come in contact with and see if any of them are interested in becoming a 4-H volunteer leader. We are always looking for new 4-H leaders who are willing to lead or help lead a group of youth.
