Since 1911, Marion County Extension and the OSU Extension Service have benefited residents of Marion County. As with most things these days, our traditional funding base continues to change, and private donations are more important than ever. Please consider donating your time, specific items for our education programs or a financial gift.

Please contact the main office or faculty member if you would like to volunteer time or donate a specific item towards an education program.

Marion County Extension’s fundraising accounts and goals – We have created two fund accounts to benefit our local office and programs. One account is for special, short-term projects. A second account is an Endowment fund to provide a long-term solution to enhance program funding. The Marion County Extension Advisory Network has set an immediate goal of raising $1 million dollars for an Endowment fund. At that point, the endowment will generate about $45,000 each year, in perpetuity, to support Extension education in Marion County. You may specify either of these fund accounts when you donate to our office.
