We tap our community resource partners- public and private- to engage our youth to learn and experience best natural resource management and healthy community practices, and learn about individual career and education paths and future career opportunities. A community has ample sites where this knowledge can be applied through service learning. We utilize over 75 sites. See partners HERE.

Our partners are more than links to the community. They are the essence of our ability to leverage both resources and professional knowledge. Our educational programs are enriched with science-tested best sustainability practices, economic reality and local community context. Many partnerships have worksites. Many provide professional expertise and blocks for the economic, social and environmental components of sustainability.
Programs are supported primarily through foundation grant programs. Youth fundraise their travel expenses. We want to take the time to thank the Juan Young Trust, Title 2 BLM, Mid-Willamette Watershed Alliance, and Caretakers of the Environment International USA Branch for their generous support. Additional contributions and donations are most welcome through the 4-H Foundation.
