    Master Beekeeper instructors Del Barber, Shigeo Oku and Randy Sturgill will lead eight classes to be held on the third Saturday of the month beginning on January 19 and continuing through August 17, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the OSU Extension Office in 631 Alder Street, Myrtle Point.

    May 15, 2013 (special 3 hour class) Session 5 and 6: Preparing for the honey flow: early spring bee calendar AND The honey flow: spring/early summer
    June 19, 2013 Session 7: Honey, extraction, hive products
    July 17, 2013 Session 8: Pollination and bee biology
    August 21, 2013 Session 8: Late summer through winter based on bees’ calendar

    Please bring a hat/veil, Master Beekeeper packet, and a sack lunch to the first Master Beekeeper class for Southern Oregon. It will be held in conjunction with the Southern Oregon Beekeepers Association (SOBA) bee school. The orientation will begin at 9am.
