About Us
Our PartnersInner City Youth Institute is made possible through collaboration between the United States Forest Service (USFS), Pacific Northwest Research Station (PNW), Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Oregon State University Extension Service 4-H Youth Development Program (OSU). USFS, PNW and BLM provide an annual grant to OSU Extension 4-H to fund staff, supplies and field trip transportation. In addition, federal agencies connect their staff to volunteer and mentor opportunities throughout the ICYI program. OSU Extension 4-H implements the ICYI program utilizing 4-H staff, volunteers, infrastructure, evaluation processes and best practices in education and positive youth development.
