If you get a warning message or a message about needing the QuickTime plug-in, see these QuickTime installation instructions.
Note: If you don't have the QuickTime plug-in for your browsers, the video clip will not run, and you will be given options to download, or go get the plug in. Different browsers handle this in different ways, depending also on the version and your preference settings. If the clip does not run click on the link for installation instructions for downloading and installing the QuickTime plug-in. On some Windows systems with Media Player installed you may see a message saying the file is corrupted. It isn't the file, but is an indication you don't have the QuickTime plug-in to read it. QuickTime is one of the most popular video streaming formats, so the plug-in will be increasingly useful in your future use of the Web.

If you don't play the clip, you won't be missing out. Nothing in it is required for the course. Ann Marie chose to include this in order to give you more personal greetings.
