This registration system will allow you to pay by credit
card or check.  For payment by check, please postmark payment by March 5,
2010 (further details in registration system).

You will receive automatic confirmation of registration
through this system and we will verify your spot via email when all 65 spots
are filled.  We will close the registration system after 65 people enroll
and will contact the entire interest list if any spots open up before the
training.  We also expect to run the program fall 2010 (September 11- November
20, 2010).

We will then send registrants more information about the
class including course schedule and syllabus by March 15, 2010.

The cost of the training is $550 for one person or $1,000
for two people who register and pay together.  Tuition includes instruction,
course materials, and volunteer support.  We are unable to offer any
discounts or work-trade positions for the training at this juncture as the
revenue from course tuition is designed to cover our high costs of production.

Here is the cancellation/refund policy for the OGCP:

requests need to be made in writing (via email or regular mail) 10 days before
event. Cancellation requests 10 days before the event are eligible for a full
refund of the registration fees (minus up to a $10 administrative fee).

Course
content includes: Soils, compost, plant propagation, garden planning/design,

Participants
will also have the opportunity to serve as garden educators by connecting with
a variety of local gardening projects and organizations through a 30-hour
volunteer practicum. The  volunteer
practicum takes place over the course of one full year after the class.

Upon
attendance of 80% (53 hours of 66 hours) of class time and completion of the 30
hours of volunteer practicum, participants will receive an official OSU
Extension Service/Oregon Tilth certificate of completion.

The
cost of the training is $550 and includes: course instruction, course
materials, and volunteer support.  We are unable to offer any discounts or
work-trade positions for the training at this juncture as the revenue from
course tuition is designed to cover our high costs of production.
