Outcomes for Oregon State University Extension Service

Two items addressed organization-level outcomes:

3d. OSU Extension Service’s overall health as an organization.
3e. The financial well-being of the OSU Extension organization.

The NOW means for those items ranked 18th and 11th, respectively, among the 29 THEN-NOW items. The positive Average Change for 3e (financial well-being) is significant at the .05 level. This shift is not necessarily due to any of the Third Mission innovations, which were undertaken in part because of a state budget crisis in the early 1990s which, for various reasons, had passed by the time of the questionnaire.

The following interactive graphic shows OSUES-wide average responses to these two questions. (Click the question boxes in the column to the right to reveal and hide the response arrows.) Averages for the mid-2001 timeframe are indicated by the orange arrows; average changes between 1995 and 2001 are indicated by vertical arrows. (Data table)
