Outcomes for Oregon State University Extension Service Professionals Two items pertain to professional satisfaction as an Extension professional. 3a. Your professional satisfaction as an Extension professional. 3f. Extension professionals' sense of job security in Oregon. Both were rated highly; their NOW (mid-2001) means ranked 6th and 7th, respectively, out of the 29 THEN-NOW items. There was no significant change (1995-2001) in either item. Professional satisfaction had a small and non-significant negative change (1995-2001). Job security had a small and non-significant positive change.
