Interested in joining 4-H, but not sure where to start?
First determine what project(s) you would be interested in from our Project List. 4-H can be made into what you want it to be, so if you don't find the projects you are looking for contact our office for more information. Next, fill out a Member Enrollment Form, Health Form, and a 4-H Code of Conduct & Media Release.  Send the forms to the 4-H Office with your enrollment fees to Morrow County Extension Service, PO Box 397, Heppner, OR 97836.

The fee schedule is as follows:
The annual enrollment fee is a $15 per member state fee + $5 per member county fee.  There is a family cap on the state fee of $30 per family, but there will still be a $5 per member fee for county.  All fees and registrations are due by January 31, 2012 in order to exhibit at fair.  However, we will accept registrations year-round for other 4-H activities, such as camp, as long as event deadlines are met.

The age group for 4-H members is:
Cloverbuds - Kindergarten through 3rd grade
Juniors - 4th, 5th, and 6th grades
Intermediates - 7th, 8th, and 9th grades
Seniors - 10th, 11th, and 12th grades

How do I volunteer in 4-H?
Morrow County 4-H is always looking for volunteers, whether it is as a club leader, for a one day event, or even at fair! If you would like to volunteer, send in a Volunteer Enrollment Form, Health Form, and a Code of Conduct & Media Release and contact our office for a volunteer packet. Volunteers are always welcomed, but they go through a different enrollment process. There is no fee to sign up as a volunteer and once you have been trained and approved, curriculum is available at no charge.

Returning volunteers: Remember to sign up each year! Print out and send in a Volunteer Enrollment Form, Health Form, and a Code of Conduct & Media Release to stay up-to-date and on our mailing list!
