Interested in joining 4-H, but not sure where to start?
First determine what project(s) you would be interested in from our Project List. 4-H can be made into what you want it to be, so if you don't find the projects you are looking for contact our office for more information. Next, complete and submit a Member Enrollment Packet.  Send the forms to the 4-H Office with your enrollment fees to Morrow County Extension Service, PO Box 397, Heppner, OR 97836 before January 31, 2014 if you wish to participate in the 2014 Morrow County Fair.
Conditions of Volunteer Service Form:
This form is required for all 4-H Volunteer Leaders, all Junior Leaders, Teen Leader, 4-H Ambassadors, and 4-H Camp Counselors.  Click here for the form and return it to our office!

New Rule for 4-H Record Books:  Your Morrow County 4-H Leader's Council voted recently to change the 4-H record book rule.  Record books will no longer be due to the 4-H office before fair in July, rather, they will now be due the last week in September as a COMPLETE record book.  If you do not turn in a completed record book, you will not be eligible to enter in the county fair in the following year.  For more information on this, please see our Record Keeping page.

***Remember, just because you enroll in 4-H does not mean that you are automatically enrolled in the county fair.  Participating in the county fair is just another event you can choose to enter and participate in.  Enrolling in 4-H does not enter you into the county fair!

The NEW fee schedule is as follows:
The annual enrollment fee is a $18 per member state fee + $5 per member county fee.  There is a family cap on the state fee of $36 per family, but there will still be a $5 per member fee for county.  All fees and registrations are due by January 31, 2014 in order to exhibit at fair.  However, we will accept registrations year-round for other 4-H activities, such as camp, as long as event deadlines are met.
Cloverbud 4-H members do not have to pay enrollment fees!

The age group for 4-H members is:
Cloverbuds - Kindergarten through 3rd grade
Juniors - 4th, 5th, and 6th grades
Intermediates - 7th, 8th, and 9th grades
Seniors - 10th, 11th, and 12th grades

How do I volunteer in 4-H?
Morrow County 4-H is always looking for volunteers, whether it is as a club leader, for a one day event, or even at fair! If you would like to volunteer, send in a Volunteer Enrollment Packet and contact our office for your application packet. Volunteers are always welcomed, but they go through a different enrollment process. There is no fee to sign up as a volunteer and once you have been trained and approved, curriculum is available at no charge.

Returning 4-H Leaders: Remember to sign up each year! Print out and send in your Volunteer Enrollment Packet to stay up-to-date and on our mailing list!
