Morrow County 4-H: To Make the Best Better
What is 4-H?
4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults while participating in fun, hands-on learning activities. Youth can experience 4-H by becoming a member of a 4-H club, attending 4-H camp, or joining after school programs. 4-Hers can compete with their projects at local, state, regional, or national levels and also attend conferences and events.
Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four H's and they are the values members work on through fun and engaging programs.
- Head - managing, thinking
- Heart - relating, caring
- Hands - giving, working
- Health - being, living
The 4-H Pledge
I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
my heart to greater loyalty,
my hands to larger service,
and my health to better living,
for my club, my community, my country, and my world.
Interested in joining 4-H, but not sure where to start?
First determine what project(s) you would be interested in from our Project List. 4-H can be made into what you want it to be, so if you don't find the projects you are looking for contact our office for more information. If you would like to volunteer, send in a Volunteer Enrollment Form and contact our office for a volunteer packet. Volunteers are always welcomed, but they go through a different enrollment process.
