The 3rd annual meeting of the Organic Seed Alliance will be at Oregon State University’s LaSells Stewart Center in Corvallis, Oregon on January 9-11, 2004. The three-day gathering aims to bring together organic seed farmers, seed industry professionals, breeders and university specialists from Oregon, Washington and Idaho to share information and skills.
Two dozen Oregon 4-H members participated with hundreds of other 4-H members from throughout the United States in the recent National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Ga.
Today, a growing number of students are enrolling in animal sciences and some 80 percent of students in the department are female. So, where have all the men gone?
