October 27th

Innovative agricultural producers, community leaders, educators, authors and research scientists are in the 2006 class of Diamond Pioneers to be honored Thursday, Oct. 26, by the Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences. The group of 26 will be honored at a luncheon hosted by Thayne Dutson, dean of the college. The Diamond Pioneer Agricultural Achievement Registry, which started 23 years ago, when the college celebrated its 75th anniversary.

Newly revised, this 15-chapter resource notebook, published by the Oregon State University Extension Service, brings together a wealth of information to help owners of backyard woodlands be good stewards of their property.

The Oregon State University Extension Service recently recognized several outstanding cooperators and friends of Extension during an awards presentation ceremony held on Sept. 20 at Extension Annual Conference in on the OSU campus.
The Oregon State University Extension Service and OSU Extension Association recently honored several top Extension educators from throughout the state for outstanding achievement and dedication to serving Oregon communities. The award winners were recognized at an awards ceremony on the OSU campus in late September.
