The Linn and Benton County offices of the Oregon State University Extension Service are presenting the "largest and most comprehensive fruit pruning field seminar" ever offered in the state of Oregon, possibly the Pacific Northwest. Three separate sessions on pruning will feature: fruit Trees, blueberries and table grapes. The sessions will be held at OSU's Lewis Brown Horticulture Research Farm at 33329 SE Peoria Rd, Corvallis Oregon, on Saturday January 26 and March 15, 2008.
Since coming to Oregon State University in 1995, the National Pesticide Information Center has helped thousands of callers with questions that range from pesticide contamination of well water to the effects of chemicals on human and animal health. A new agreement with Language Line Services connects NPIC with staff trained in medical and scientific terminology and can be accessed 24 hours a day for translations in real-time in more than 170 languages, including Mandarin, Russian, Farsi, and more.
