Oregon State University has hired an alumna who is a food chemist at Oklahoma State University to head its Seafood Laboratory in Astoria. Christina DeWitt, who has doctoral and master's degrees in food science from Oregon State University, will start work on Dec. 30. The native Texan was a graduate research assistant at the lab from 1997-1999.
