April 23, 2004

CORVALLIS – Live animals, farm machinery, a mechanical bull and a barbecue are just a few of the many highlights of this year's annual celebration at Oregon State University called Ag Days.

OSU's College of Agricultural Sciences is inviting OSU students and faculty and the public to the 2004 Ag Day on Tuesday, May 4. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the OSU Memorial Union Quad. Ag Day is hosted by the OSU Agricultural Executive Council, a student group on campus.

"It is a wonderful opportunity for the public and Oregon State University students and faculty to see what the College of Agricultural Sciences is all about," said Emily Folin, an OSU student who is a member of the OSU Agricultural Executive Council and chair of this year's Ag Day.

More than 30 clubs and 150 students will share their knowledge and experiences within their particular area of agriculture.
