Forestry & Natural Resources for Benton, Linn and Polk Counties

There are many reasons why people own woodland property: It may be an investment or source of income,  a place to live a rural life or retreat for family recreation,  or quality habitat for wildlife, or all of the above, and more.  Achieving these things often takes effort, and information.

The OSU Extension Forestry & Natural Resources Program provides landowners with information they need to make well-informed decisions on how to best take care of their woodland property to satisfy their reasons for owning their land.  We provide objective, research-based information and educational resources to family forest landowners around the state through workshops, tours publications and on-line resources.

Brad Withrow-Robinson is the Forestry and Natural Resources Extension faculty serving Benton, Linn and Polk Counties. View his home website Forestry & Natural Resources Program for information on education events in these counties.
