What's Happening at 4-H Fair in  2017

4-H'ers are ready to share their hard work at the fair.  Come see what we've been up to.  In addition to 4-H members displaying their static (art, photography, all non-animal) exhibits, and showing their small animals (rabbits, poultry & cavies/guinea pigs), this year's 4-H area will also feature the following:

NEW IN 2017!

  • Catch The Buzz (a place to learn about urban beekeeping, starting a 4-H Beekeeping Club, how to keep bees healthy & thriving, and other fun activities)
  • Makers Space--hands on experiences, like: rope making, model bridge building, circuit boards, knot tying.
  • YA-4-H Teen Teachers will be at the fair on Monday to do cooking demos

BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR!

  • The Multnomah 4-H Small Animals & Static Exhibits Fair are state qualifying contests. 4-H Youth members who participate in the Multnomah 4-H Small Animals or Static Exhibit Fair will not be eligible for participating in other county 4-H fairs in 2017.
  • Small Animals & Static Project 4-H Awards and Premiums:  4-H members will receive 4-H ribbons for each exhibit they enter into the fair. 4-H Junior/Intermediate/Senior members also have the opportunity to earn premiums for each of their exhibits (judging day participation is required to earn static premiums.)
  • 4H Market Pen Project: Learn more here!

Plus . . . lots of fun rides for everyone (ride information/costs at Oaks Park website -- see below)
