May 24, Thursday, 4:45 PM: Summer Conference "early bird" registration due.  Extension Office. “Early bird” fee (deadline of 5 pm May 24) of $135 + $40 (R/T bus from Central Point) = $175. Make check payable to: OREGON 4-H FOUNDATION (balance will be sent from us). Registration fee goes up to $160 (plus bus fee) May 25 to June 1. A new 6th 4-H Shooting Discipline. 4-H Western Action Shooting is a part of a larger and comprehensive study of the Old West known as the Oregon 4-H Western Heritage Project. The purpose of this project is to provide an avenue for 4-H members and adult leaders to experience the lifestyles and cultures of Oregon’s Old West from the period between the mid 1800s to the early 1900s through a living history approach to learning.

June 6, Wednesday, 5:30 pm: New Member Orientation/Dinner

June 25, 26,27 Monday-Wednesday: YOUTH TRACTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE. Aurora, OR
$40 fee. 8-4 daily. Youth must be 14 by June 27.

June 26, Tuesday: COUNTY FAIR REGISTRATION DAY, Extension Office

June 27-30, 2012: SUMMER CONFERENCE, GRADES 7-12. Applications available by May 1, State 4H program
