A new 6th 4-H Shooting Discipline. 4-H Western Action Shooting is a part of a larger and comprehensive study of the Old West known as the Oregon 4-H Western Heritage Project. The purpose of this project is to provide an avenue for 4-H members and adult leaders to experience the lifestyles and cultures of Oregon’s Old West from the period between the mid 1800s to the early 1900s through a living history approach to learning.
