Oak Mistletoe Field Class

Thursday, December 14, 2017 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Recent research reveals that mistletoe in oak woodlands provides important food and cover for wildlife, especially birds.  This field class will visit oak woodlands to discuss mistletoe-wildlife interactions. We'll also cover the impacts and management of mistletoe on tree health.  Co-sponsored by Jackson Josephine Small Woodlands Association (JJSWA).
