Monday, February 12, 2018 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Come to the Extension Center and have some science fun!  Youth design the catapult with basic materials using only weights and gravity as the power source. During the activity, youth learn about form, function, design, and the manufacturing process.

They will plan, build, test, modify, and record results on the Marshmallow Challenge worksheet. Suggested for grades 3-12 and groups of 2-5 kids, but can also be used by a youth-adult team. Adults - interested in starting a 4-H club or lead a project?  Lena will be available to talk with you that night.  Open to 4-H and non 4-H youth.

RSVP to the Extension Office by February 9th. Minimum number for class is 7 youth.  Suggested donation for supplies is $2.
