The 2013 4-H Year begins October 1, 2012. If you are new to 4-H and are looking for an active club to join next year, Leader Directories are available in the Extension Office. Fourthoughs Newsletter March - May 2013

AGE REQUIREMENT:  Jackson County has numerous clubs in the traditional 4-H program. Most clubs are project-oriented, for grades 4-12. Some are mixed project or community clubs. Youth must be currently in the 4th grade AND be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2012, to enroll.
***K-3: Kindergarten through Grade 3 youth must wait until the following year(s).

PROJECT SELECTION

4-H Enrollment for 2013 is closed (grades 4-12). Enrollment in 4-H clubs for 2013-14 begins in October, 2013.

*To participate in the County Fair, enrollments must be received in the office, and fees paid, by March 15, 2013.
**NOTE—We NO LONGER take enrollment fees/forms for adult volunteers who have not taken the basic 5½-hour 4-H Leader Training. Once a leader has been trained and has passed OSU’s criminal background screening, we will accept their enrollment
***Although K-3 kids may be active as 4-H Cloverbuds, Jackson County currently does not have any enrolled/active clubs for the K-3 level. Any participation at this level in 4-12 clubs is at the discretion of individual.
