Extension Study Group Program Welcomes You
The Extension Study Group Program is a program for people to learn--emerging health issues, improve your family and home, and share this information with your community. Monthly lessons are given and open to the general public. In Oregon for information on FCE and similar community education groups in your area contact your local County Extension office.
Study Group members learn about...New places around the world; Emerging health issues; Ways to improve their homes and family relationships; New ideas/methods for food preparation; Saving money and more.
Study Group members are involved in...Community service projects; Social activities; Practical educational programs that apply to everyday living.

OSU developed training materials
Each year OSU develops two or three lessons including background and materials for teachers and participants on topics of community importance. These are available for FCE groups and others who deliver community education through a "train-the-trainer" model.
