Growing Seed Agripreneurs

BROCHURE  The Growing Seed Agriprenuers Course trains farmers and gardeners in the art and science of organic seed saving and production. 

Thursday evenings from April 5 through October 18, plus monthly workshops and field trips to local seed farms.

Learn and practice how to grow, steward, harvest and clean seeds from a range of vegetable, flower and herb crops.  Skills and concepts taught are listed below.

Course fee: $400 (early registration discount, <$50> before March 15). A second person from the same farm may register for $350 (early registration by March 15 discount will also apply).  REGISTER ON LINE:

Course Instructor Sebastian Aguilar of Chickadee Farm in Talent, OR, has 20 years of organic farming experience and is a seed supplier to several national seed companies.

  • Narrated observation walk of OSU seed garden

  • Hands-on work helping manage the OSU seed garden
