4-H Outreach-Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center

The Oregon Outreach Program/Jackson County is designed to increase the quality and quantity of community-based, culturally relevant educational programs for Latino children and youth.

It’s purpose is to support children and youth to allow them to develop skills, knowledge and competencies that help them establish productive, caring, and contributing roles as adults.

Adult volunteers

Volunteers: Adult volunteers play an important role in the delivery of programs for 4-H and for many other community-based youth programs. Volunteers serve as role models for youth, help youth acquire knowledge, and help them develop life skills. Please contact the Outreach Program to learn more about Volunteer opportunities.
