Volunteer Training

Steps

  1.  Submit a volunteer application or scan and email to Kimberly.Skomerza@oregonstate.edu.

  2. Complete the criminal history check authorization and return to the addresses at the bottom of the page (mail, email or fax) along with a photocopy of your driver’s license.   If you have not been an Oregon resident for seven consecutive years you will need to get your fingerprints done.  If that is the case please contact Kim BEFORE you mail your criminal history check form to OSU.  She will have to request that they send you a LiveScan request, then you can get your fingerprints done and the police will send them directly to OSU.
  3. Complete the eModules at http://4hvolunteerelearning.wsu.edu/volunteertraining/course.html and note the password is: volunteer.  After you complete each of the 4 segments please print the certificates of completion. 

  4. Attend an in person training. This training will last about 2 ½ hours.

  5. Enroll in 4-H Online. Our enrollment link is http://extension.oregonstate.edu/sorec/enroll you need to enroll online AND print the consent forms with payment to the office.
