SNAP-Ed Education Program Assistant 1

This position includes responsibilities in the Extension SNAP-Ed program providing evidence-based interventions through SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education) which is a federally funded nutrition education and obesity prevention program targeting SNAP eligible audiences. Interventions include hands-on learner-centered direct education as well as community-based work related to policy, systems, and environmental change. Program participants learn about healthy food and physical activity choices. All programming is done in collaboration with community partners, such as schools, food banks and pantries, and government and non-profit agencies.

The closing date for this position is December 10, 2017 with anticipated start date in early January 2018.
