Part 2:  January 29, 2018, 9 am - 3 pm: "LAUNCHING A SUCCESSFUL FOOD BUSINESS" Product Development, Laws and Labeling, led by Sarah Masoni of the OSU Food Innovation Center, Product and Process Development Manager.   Register HERE
Sarah is a veteran food industry specialist with a passion for assisting food entrepreneurs. Start a food business confidently with an understanding of food labeling, food safety, creating a recipe, product testing, shelf-life, kitchen & licensing requirements, food laws, food business vocabulary, pricing, marketing strategies, and next-step local resources. Part 3:  February 3, 2018,m 1 to 3:30 pm: "BUILDING YOUR FOOD BRAND IN THE MARKET PLACE" Register HERE     This session will cover the pros and cons of various marketing and distrubution channels including farm stands, growers markets, stores, internet and wholesale distributors. We will also discuss branding your product, from how to develop a logo to using social media to create buzz about your new product. Speakers include successful food business owners and a local marketing consultant. Cost: $20.
    
Part 4: February 12, 2018, 5:30 to 8 pm: "LOCAL RESOURCES FOR DEVELOPING YOUR BUSINESS PLAN AND FINANCING"   Register HERE 
Rogue Community College Small Business Development Center along with other local business advisors will answer some important questions. Cost: $20
