TCMGA Market Place

Welcome to Tillamook County Master Gardener Associations's Market Place.  Our new storefront will be offering items of special interest to the gardener.  Proceeds from the sale of these items support Tillamook County Master Gardener Association's educational mission.  We award scholarships annually to graduates of Tillamook County Schools.  Funds also support specific projects on sustainable horticulture throughout the county, our Learning Garden at the Tillamook County Fairgrounds, and clinics held throughout the county.

Quilt Squares to Honor your Favorite Gardener

How best to honor your favorite gardener than to purchase a Quilt Square for them.  Squares are placed on the Quilt Square Honor Board located in the Learning Garden at the Tillamook County Fair Grounds.  This board serves to honor a person who is or was a gardener who inspired you.  It is also a place to honor a Master Gardener, either past or present, who dedicated their time and effort to the ideals of the Demonstration/Learning Garden and its success over the 25+ years of its existence.

The squares are about 5 x5 inch square.  They are made out of wood painted with sunproof exterior paint.  Designs can be as simple as a quilt square design or more elaborate to meet a particular interest or hobby of the person you are dedicating the block to.  Our own Master Gardener, Evelynn VonFeldt, designs and hand paints each square and is happy to design the square based on your request.   The squares are encased in a plexiglass frame and are on the opposite side of our Tillamook Quilt Square entitled Waterwheel.  This is a heritage quilt block and all proceeds benefit the Learning Garden at the fairgrounds.  Limited space is available, so get your request in soon!

The order form can be found at this link.  Complete the form and mail to the Tillamook County Master Gardener Association (TCMGA), 4506 Third Street, Tillamook, OR  97141.
