The 4-H Emblem
The Emblem of 4-H, since 1909, is the four-leaf clover. The green clover has a white "H" on each leaf, representing head, heart, hands, and health. The white letters symbolize sincerity and honesty while the green clover defines growth and youth. 4-H is head, heart, hands, and health, giving kids a way to give back to their family, community and future.
"I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
my heart to greater loyalty,
my hands to larger service, and
my health to better living,
for my club, my community, my country and my world."
