Family Community Education (FCE)

One of the many ways Oregonians receive information from the OSU Extension Service is through Extension study groups which are open to all interested people.  The Oregon Association for Family and Community Education (OrFCE) is an organization of people who participate in study groups.

The FCE program offers educational opportunities to help individuals and families manage their resources to meet needs for food, clothing, finance, shelter, parenting, and human relationships.

Please contact the Extension office at (541) 278-5404, or via email,  if you are interested in participating in any of our volunteer organizations or study groups.

Nutrition Education

OSU Extension Service brings nutrition education to limited resource Oregonians through the Oregon Family Nutrition Program (OFNP). Currently based on the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), OFNP offers programs both on the reservation and throughout Umatilla County. Please contact Helena Wolfe, (541) 966-2610, for information about classes in your community.
