Successful bidder(s) can apply for the LOP tags on appropriate hunt units for property owned by (Gallatin Northeast Oregon Land and Timber - Forest Capital Partners) Baker County, Union County, Umatilla County and Wallowa County.

Successful bidder(s) must possess a valid Hunter ID number prior to making application. All application information must be turned into Forest Capital Partners on or before May 1, 2008. Applicants will be required to provide additional information in order to compete the application. Maps of property owned by Gallatin are available at the Forest Capital Partners Office, 1604 27th St, La Grande.

LOP tags are part of the controlled hunt series program with some hunt units being undersubscribed and other units being oversubscribed. Applying for a LOP tag in a particular hunt unit does not guarantee that a tag will be awarded.

Four Seasons Fly Shoppe is offering a one-day fly fishing trip for steelhead. This trip is for one person and will be taken in October or November 2008 depending on river conditions as well as shoppe and client schedules. This trip is valued at $300. A second person can be included for an additional $150. This trip is on the lower Grande Ronde River in the Troy, OR area.

The day will include casting instruction with a double-handed fly rod, with emphasis toward line control, proper fly selection for the present conditions, reading water and most other pertinent aspects to successful stealheading methods.

You may bring your own equipment or use ours. You must provide:

• A valid Oregon or Washington fishing license and steelhead tag
• Waders and appropriate personal gear for you comfort on the river
