Livestock

Livestock production on the reservation includes both cattle and horses which are run within tribal districts.  Extension outreach involves providing community based education that supports the application of new and existing research based information to support sustainable production.  Our programs include:

• The Beef Quality Assurance Program
• Field demonstrations and workshops on cattle management and health care
• The Annual Horse Sale at Warm Springs
• The Annual Equine Vaccination Clinic
