Colonel Wright Garden Club

master gardeners and students help plant garden beds

OSU staff, supported by Master Gardeners, work with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students from Colonel Wright Elementary School in The Dalles. The children explore garden-based, hands-on, and physically-active science lessons after school in the fall and spring. The program is taught by OSU faculy and is suppported by Master Gardener volunteers. It was created to inspire of love of plants, insects, gardening, and the environment!
