4-H Youth Development is the youth outreach and engagement program of Oregon State University Extension Service.  

Caring, committed Oregon State University faculty, staff and 4-H volunteers create opportunities for young people to learn and grow through an intentional process that builds competence, confidence, connection, compassion and character. 

4-H also provides researched based training and extensive support in the fields of positive youth development, experiential learning and youth program management for adult volunteers and youth workers.
