AGENDA

. . .

Alternative Senior Housing

Being able to “age in place” by creating housing which supports the needs of senior citizens is an important quality of life issue, since Washington County has the fastest growing age 50+ population in the region. Three groups will share their vision and work.

7:30 pm / Viva Village, presented by Nancy Miller

Viva Village is a Portland-area nonprofit network of adults with a common goal to care for and support each other so they can live in their own homes and stay engaged in the community for as long as desired. This is part of the national Village movement. More than 125 villages exist nationally as a result of grass-roots efforts undertaken by ordinary people, including seven in the Portland-metro area.
