Viva Village is a Portland-area nonprofit network of adults with a common goal to care for and support each other so they can live in their own homes and stay engaged in the community for as long as desired. This is part of the national Village movement. More than 125 villages exist nationally as a result of grass-roots efforts undertaken by ordinary people, including seven in the Portland-metro area.
