North Cooper Mountain Planning - Comment Online!
Over the last 18 months, the City of Beaverton has engaged area residents in concept planning for the Cooper Mountain area, which includes the South Cooper Mountain Annexation Area (in the City) as well as the North Cooper Mountain area and an Urban Reserve area that separates the two (unincorporated). Currently, planning work specific to the North Cooper Mountain area is transitioning from Beaverton to Washington County.
Washington County is developing community plan alternatives to guide the development of the North Cooper Mountain area. Amendments to the county’s Comprehensive Plan to address the North Cooper Mountain planning effort are expected to be considered by the County’s Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners in 2015.
