Willamette Water Supply Program

A speaker from Tualatin Valley Water District will provide information and updates on the Willamette Water Supply Program. The project involves plans to develop an additional source of water from the mid-Willamette River at Wilsonville. It will expand the Willamette River Water Treatment Plant and add pipelines and storage to serve communities in Washington County. Several pipeline route alternatives are being considered. Construction in most areas will not begin for several years.

  • Proposed 214-Unit Apartment Complex (south of SW Oak near 90th, in flood plain)
    Discussion of the process and opportunities for citizen input.

 

Longtime resident Joy Patterson was nominated for Chair in February.
Joy brings previous experience in volunteering and facilitating
meetings, and she attended the 2014 CPO Program Leadership
Orientation. The experienced officers volunteered to serve another
term in their positions. Please join us to meet and welcome Joy,

Metzger Park Advisory Board

Boards, committees and commissions advise the Board of Commissioners on matters of interest to people who live and work in Washington County. Serving on an appointed board or commission is a great way for Washington County residents to participate in decisions that affect them and to learn more about how local government works. Positions are open until filled.

Metzger Park Advisory Board –1 Vacancy for an Alternate Position
Board oversees the only park in the County supported through a Local Improvement District. Board plans and helps with park maintenance needs, deals with the administrative issues involved in running an active urban park.

Owner of the property on the south side of SW Murdock Street between SW 100th and SW 98th is considering a proposal for a 3-lot partition. Meeting will be held at the Tigard High School Library, 9000 SW Durham Rd., Tigard.

Tigard Planning Commission Hearing - December 15, 7 pm

CPO 4M invited the developers to discuss this proposed development at its September meeting. The City of Tigard Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on December 15th, 7 pm, in the Town Hall of Tigard Civic Center at 13525 SW Hall Blvd. Written testimony may be submitted at the hearing. Written testimony may also be submitted up to 5 pm on the day of the hearing by mail or in person. Mail or deliver your comments to the attention of Gary Pagenstecher to the same address. Include the Case ID Numbers CPO2014-00002, PDR2014-00003, SDR2014-00004, SLR2014-00002. Ash Avenue Dog Park

Neighborhood Meeting - November 24, 5 pm
The City Center Development Agency is considering a change in zoning for the Ash Avenue Dog Park located at the corner of Ash Avenue and Burnham Street. The proposal is to rezone the property from the PR (Parks and Recreation Zone) to the MU-CBD (Mixed Use-Central Business District Zone). This rezone is part of a redevelopment plan to construct new mixed use building on the site. The City will relocate the dog park to one of two comparable sites just across the street. The new park will have similar amenities. Meeting will be held at the Public Works Auditorium at 8777 SW Burnham St., Tigard.
