First Detector Online Training Opportunity

Learn to be one of the first to identify and diagnose potentially injurious pests and diseases.  An online course for First Detectors has been created and posted by the University of Florida.  The course is free, easy to take and nicely illustrated.  There are 6 modules which can be taken online (high speed access needed) anytime.  Once completed, a certificate is issued and the graduate is put on a register of trained First Detectors who will receive e-mail alerts of new pests found in their region and a newsletter.  Yamhill MGs will receive recertification credit for completing this program.   First Detector Online Training Link
