Pressure canner gauge testing: Our office offers a free service to check the accuracy of pressure canning gauges. It is recommended that gauges be checked each year before you begin canning and whenever a new gauge is purchased. Bring us your pressure canner lid with the gauge attached or just the gauge and we will check its accuracy at three different pressures. This service is available during our regular office hours.
