All students are required to have completed the online study materials and must attend a one day session.
Only 10 spaces are available each day and will be assigned to participants of the same county (of residence) as per OHA guidelines -participants must be willing to attend on their assigned day.
This program is designed to teach safety as it relates to driving and managing farm implements.
It requires distance learning and hands-on tractor driving experiences, for youth ages 14-17 who are interested in summer employment opportunities in the upcoming agricultural season.
Classes held at North Willamette Research Extension Center (NWREC), 15210 NE Miley Road, Aurora, OR.
NWREC is located 1 mile east of I-5 (exits 282 or 282B).Students must be at least 14 years old by June 21, 2021.
4-H / FFA membership not required.
Cost $95/participant (non-refundable) includes Safe Operation of Agricultural Equipment Manual and T-shirt.
