Training that could help save a life!

“Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is a life-saving drug that can prevent the death of someone overdosing by blocking the brain’s opioid receptors. The effects are almost immediate, restoring respiration to a person whose breathing has either slowed or stopped due to opioid overdose.” -HIV Alliance

With drug addiction and opioid use in Douglas County becoming more prevalent, it is important now more than ever to arm yourself with knowledge in order to protect yourself and your loved ones. We have partnered with our local HIV Alliance to offer this FREE life-saving training.

This same training is also offered on Monday, December 18th from 6-7 pm at the Extension Auditorium.

Youth-focused Naloxone training coming in the Spring.
